All of the University of Bordeaux campuses are easily accessible. Choose the means of transport most suited to your needs, whether active mobility, ride-sharing or public transportation, etc.
In Bordeaux, the public transport network (TBM) offers a range of options that users can combine to their liking to enjoy city life without the hassles of a car.
Lines A, B, C and D operate throughout the week, every 10 minutes on average, serving the majority of the Bordeaux campuses.
13 bus lines serve the campus and also intersect with the tram lines.
Mobibus, a transport-on-demand service for people with reduced mobility is also available.
The TransGironde network (in French) operates as a complement to the TBM network. Five lines serve Talence and in particular the Peixotto campus.

Bordeaux-Saint-Jean is the largest railway station in the Aquitaine region, just over 2 hours from Paris. The trains serving the station travel to or from Spain and towns and cities such as Arcachon, Toulouse, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg, Lille, Nantes and Nice. There are also frequent connections with other Nouvelle-Aquitaine towns thanks to the regional trains.
Regional trains also serve the Pessac railway station.

Whether you ride your own bike or a V³ from the TBM network, the campuses are all equipped with parking areas for bikes and some of them even have air pump stations.
The university has a partnership with Maison Métropolitaine des Mobilités Alternatives that lends bikes free of charge to students living in the Bordeaux Metropolitan area.

Consider ride-sharing! Several websites put drivers and riders in touch with each other.
Car parks are available on most of the campuses, including disabled access.
Please note: some car parks are subject to regulations.
The university is committed to making disability a central part of its institutional strategy. Find out more about the measures taken to facilitate campus accessibility.
